Due to illness Recycled Percussion has postponed its attempt to break the record for the longest show performed by a band in US history. The 24 hour concert was scheduled to begin in Las Vegas, Nevada at 10 pm tonight. An alternative date is being sought.
Doctors diagnosed band member and founder Justin Spencer with a severe viral infection and exhaustion and have advised him not to perform the 24 hour show this week.
While the 24 hour show has been rescheduled until organizers can find an alternative date, Recycled Percussion will continue to perform its regular show nightly at the Tropicana.
Recycled Percussion will continue as the celebrity spokespersons for Lotus Broadcasting's holiday toy drive, the proceeds of which will go to benfit Toys for Tots of Southern Nevada.
