Queen drummer Roger Taylor (photo) stepped behind the kit of regular Foo\'s sticksman Taylor Hawkins and played along on a rendition of Queen\'s Tie Your Mother Down.
Not very surprisingly, Hawkins enjoyed Taylor\'s performance very much, watching him closely play: Taylor Hawkins names Roger Taylor as one of his two biggest musical influences, the other being Stewart Copeland.
Taylor Hawkins joined Foo Fighters in 1997, replacing original drummer William Goldsmith. Previously Hawkins had played in Alanis Morissette\'s band.
In other news: Queen + Paul Rodgers will play the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles next Saturday, October 22, before moving on to dates in Japan. The group will start an extensive North American tour in 2006.
Earlier this year Queen did a very successful European tour, which was captured on the recent live album \"Return of the Champions\".
In addition to this release, a \"Return of the Champions\" DVD is also coming up.
