Planet Alliance is said to be a project band where several respected, high-class musicians were carefully selected in order to participate in the line-up.
The musical direction is described as \"melodic hard rock/metal with strong hooklines.\"
Announced in January 2006, Planet Alliance also features bassists Bob Daisley (ex-Ozzy Osbourne) and Magnus Rosén (Hammerfall).
Other musicians participating in the Planet Alliance recordings are guitarists Mattias \"IA\" Eklundh, of Freak Kitchen and Fate repute, and Carl-Johan Grimmark of Narnia.
Vocalist/keyboardist Micael Andersson (Cloudscape), and guitarist/keyboardist Magnus Karlsson (Last Tribe among others) started to compose songs for Planet Alliance in early 2005. Daisley and Janne Stark (Locomotive Breath, Overdrive) were also invited to contribute with songs in order to complete the recordings.
Planet Alliance\'s musical direction is described as \"melodic hard rock/metal with strong hooklines.\" The album is produced by Anders Theo Theander at RoastingHouse Studios.
