Indonesia drummer Surendro "Yoyo" Prasetyo, best known as drummer and founder of the band Padi, has been sentenced to one year in prison by the Central Jakarta District Court for possession of crystal methamphetamine.

According tot presiding judge Sapawi, the drummer was proven to be using the drugs for himself, but Yoyo is not obliged to stay in prison. Instead he may undergo medical and social rehabilitation.
In issuing the verdict, judges took into account that Yoyo was a long-time drug user.
Yoyo also admitted that he was guilty, showed a pleasant demeanor and had no prior convictions.
