The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) arrested Yoyo at 2 am at the Sudirman Park Apartments for alleged possession of an unspecified amount of crystal methamphetamine.
Yoyo was brought to National Police headquarters for questioning, according to police reports.
The drummer told police investigators that he had been using heroin for ten years, but he had stopped. "Instead, now Yoyo takes crystal meth", a spokesman said.
Yoyo has apologized to his family, friends and fans. The Padi drummer could face a minimum of six years in prison and a maximum of 10 years for the offense, depending on the amount of narcotics found in his possession, police said.
Last month, the BNN announced plans to provide free drug tests at movie and television shoots following a spate of drug arrests involving celebrities.
