Kaiser Chiefs' drummer and vocalist Nick Hodgson has guested with The Vaccines on stage. He filled in for regular drummer Pete Robertson at Paradiso in Amsterdam, The Netherlands last night.
The Vaccines had originally been set to play thier Amsterdam show last autumn, but were forced to reschedule the gig to allow frontman Justin Young to undergo throat surgery.
With drummer Pete Robertson unable to make the rescheduled date, however, the band asked Nick Hodgson to step in.
Despite some early problems getting to grips with the songs, Nick says he enjoyed the show as guest drummer:
"It was great, I loved it. [The Vaccines' song] Wreckin' Bar was twice as fast, but other than that everything went well. I got really into it by the end."
