Formed in 2001, Apocalypse Warhead was conceived to create fast and aggressive death metal merged with the guitar playing of thrash with modern day extreme metal drumming.

Inspired by Derek Roddy\'s educational drum video, bandleader and guitarist Tuukka Laitinen even started to play the drums.

With Nate Gould joining the fold, Laitinen will concentrate 100% on the guitar again, which he has played since the age of eight.

Plans are to get an album recorded and released through a record company, so far there are no real plans to do gigs or to find
other string instrument guys.
