Initially, Korg USA will distribute Sakae's new Celestial, Trilogy, Almighty and Pac-D drum kits, as well as a selection of snares and hardware.

The last time Korg USA distributed drums was for Sonor from 1989-1991.

Sakae - meaning Prosperity in Japanese - is a high-end drum manufacturer located in Osaka, Japan. Founded in 1925, Sakae has built drums for Yamaha for four decades. Today, the company builds drums under their own brand, Sakae Drums.

Sakae president Eizo Nakata comments
