Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy has acted as guest editor for UK\'s Rhythm magazine. Portnoy was given the opportunity to pick four drummers to interview who have been influences on him and helped shape him as a drummer in his formative years.\"The four guys I ended up choosing were Neil Peart, Nick Mason, Bill Bruford and Lars Ulrich. (For those of you knowing my love for The Beatles and wondering... yes I did have Ringo on my initial list as well, but Rhythm had just recently done a piece with him, so he was scratched off...)\"
Mike Portnoy rounded out the magazine by having Jason Bittner of Shadows Fall interview him. Explains Portnoy: This special copy (issue 132) of Rhythm magazine will the stands towards the end of next month, December 2006.
