29 October 2005 marks another highlight in the career of Dutch rock outfit Mennen. That date the hardworking band depart to the USA.

Drummer Fon Janssen and the rest of the band will spend five weeks in Cincinnati, Ohio to record their new album.
Mennen will continue their co-operation wit top producer Erwin Musper (David Bowie, Van Halen, Scorpions, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi and Anouk) after the work they did together on their last album “Freakazoid” (2004).
The friendship became stronger and stronger ever since. The last months the band put a lot of energy in creating and writing in their Mushroom studio, resulting in 13 tracks (and still counting).
The new material will be directed in the style of “Freakazoid” as this album opened up many doors in both the UK and the US.
Besides the recording of the new album, the band will also perform shows in the US. These shows will be recorded to use in a later stadium. On the Mennen web site you can catch up with the boys by the diary and daily update of the photo gallery.
