Legendary drummer and percussionist Manu Katché is one of a kind and that same quality now goes for hotel Du Triangle d’Or ("the Golden Triangle") in Paris, France.

The hotel was recently renovated and redecorated by architect Philippe Maidenberg, who dedicated an entire floor to designs inspired by Manu Katché.
The way you play is the way you are, and that's unique", states the drumming legend. And architect Maidenberg has used Manu Katché's credo to the max for the hotel's interior.
The result includes flight cases and floor toms as bedside tables, drum sticks as curtain pulls, and splash cymbals for wall lamps.
Music is the key element, starting in the hotel lobby. Other musicians who collaborated with the architect in this project are Rickie Lee Jones, Archie Shepp, Mc Solaar and Jaques Higelin.
Manu Katché (Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, 1958) was sky-rocketed to drummer stardom in the mid-1980s thanks to his participation on albums by Peter Gabriel and Sting.
Since then he has been drumming with numerous bands and artists, including Jeff Beck, Al di Meola, Dire Straits, Manu Chao, Loreena McKennitt, Youssou N'Dour, Joe Satriani and Tori Amos to name but a few.
