At NAMM the Ludwig drum company always has one of the most eye-catching booths on the international music trade show, held in Anaheim, California. Not only because the floor size or the amount of instruments they show, but mostly because their 'big soapy' setup is the reason most of the drummers stop to be impressed by it. Gary Devore, LCG Tech and Dealer Service, from Ludwig Drum Co. takes you through all the items on display at NAMM 2013, and shows some pretty nice setups with the Atlas Pro Hardware.
All seven videos with this article features many topics like the wood used for the drums, about the cutting of the bearing edges, the new badges, finishes, and the clever use of the Atlas Pro Hardware that are incorporated into the drum sets shown. One smart Ludwig invention at NAMM is that the company features all the specific items of the drum sets on the bass drum heads, so everyone knows what to look for right in the setups away.
