Latin Percussion (LP) expands its Aspire Series of jamjuree wood drums with a new 12 � inch diameter djembe. Jamjuree wood, sometimes known as Siam Walnut, has a deep, rich grain that is accented on each djembe with a satin finish and black powder-coated hardware.

The LP Aspire jamjuree wood djembe features a 2-ply, 25 inch tall shell with EZ Curve rim and mechanically-tuned lugs. Victor Filonovich, director of product for Latin Percussion, says about the lightweight shell:

:"The jamjuree djembe, at a 15% lighter weight than similar-size djembes, is a great choice for any player transporting their instrument to and from performances."

The LP Aspire jamjuree wood djembe has a manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of $319.00 USD and is available now at authorized Latin Percussion retailers.
