After Derek Kerswill parted ways with the band in 2010 due to "creative differences", Unearth also recruited Justin Foley (Killswitch Engage, Blood Has Been Shed) and Branden Morgan (Misery Signals) as temporary live drummer.

Unearth's latest sticksman Nick, who plays with traditional grip, grew up playing for local bands in the Seattle/Tacoma area, inlcuding Culling the Weak, Eterna Nocturna, and Embalmed. More recently he drummed with The Faceless.

Nick remarks:

"I've been a fan of Unearth for many years and I'm excited to shred with a great group of guys and support our fans."

Unearth vocalist Trevor Phipps comments:

"Nick is a beast of a drummer and a great guy to hang with. I look forward to jamming with him around the world for years to come."
