'Ain't In It For My Health: A Film About Levon Helm' is the title of an upcoming documentary film about former The Band drummer and lead singer Levon Helm. Directed by Jacob Hatley, the film chronicles Levon's return to the studio and stage in the late 2000s.
Shot mostly on Levon's Woodstock, New York home over the course of two years, the film promises candid interviews and backstage footage [that] reveal Levon Helm's battles with drugs, cancer, the death of his bandmates and financial ruin, as well as the drive that led to his Grammy-winning return.
