Legendary 1960\'s rock \'n roll drummer Carlo Little sadly passed away on Saturday, August 6 after a bravely fought battle with lung cancer. Little was 67 years old.

The drummer was born on December 17, 1938 as Carl O\'Neil Little and grew out to one of the world\'s most influencial drummers.
He claimed to have taught The Who drummer Keith Moon how to drum. In 1962 he turned down a job with a young band named the Rolling Stones when they were looking for a regular drummer.
Little played in many other bands, including The Flowerpot Men and several outfits with bass player Nick Simper and guitarist Ritchie Blackmore, who would both join Deep Purple.
