Kyle Mims, drummer from Jacksonville, Florida based group Evergreen Terrace, had a nasty bike incident after band practice. Kyle was rushed to the emergency room and released with loads of stitches, road burn all over his body and a broken clavicle (collar bone).

Unfortunately Kyle Mims will have to have surgery and physical therapy for the next 4-8 weeks.
The broken clavicle prohibits him from playing drums, which is how he makes his living. He will be stuck at home, unable to work.
The doctors have told Kyle that if he wants to continue to play drums he will have to have surgery. The surgery will cost him $10,000. They require $5,000 up front and the other $5,000 once the surgery is complete. His emergency room bills, tests, ambulance ride, etc are estimated to be an additional $10,000.
Problem is that Kyle did not have any health insurance at the moment of the accident. He was very close to receiving health insurance through his work, but got injured before it did.
Kyle\'s mom and stepdad (Stacy and Mark Earle) have now set up a donation site. If you wanna help a brother in drums you can donate online here.
