18-year-old drummer Jonno Lodge has joined Biomechanical\'s line-up as the replacement for Matt C (photo), who left Biomechanical last week. Matt indicated that he wanted to \"move in a different direction within the genre drumming-wise\". Biomechanical frontman John K (real name: Yiannis Koutselinis)comments on the group\'s new drummer: \"Jonno is an avid Dream Theater fan which makes it easier for us to gel with him in terms of time signature changes etc. He has been playing the drums since the age of four and is classically trained. After watching his solo, [we] realized the potential of this collaboration could be awesome and the only logical thing after hearing him play was to offer him the job!\"

Biomechanical\'s upcoming album, \'Cannibalised\', is due to be released early 2008 via Earache Records.
