Sasso is replacing Jason Dunkerly who has been the \"fill-in\" drummer since the band returned home from the spring tour with Amorphis, Into Eternity and Beyond The Embrace.
Jason Dunkerly also performed on Single Bullet Theory\'s 2003 release, \"Behind Eyes of Hatred\", alongside King Diamond drummer Matt Thompson.
Returning skinsman John Sasso is best known for his work on Single Bullet Theory\'s 2002 release \"Route 666\", issued by Crash Music Inc.
The band was in preproduction for their next full length CD \"Behind Eyes of Hatred\" when Sasso announced his departure from the group in February 2004.
The band are currently working on 23 new blistering tracks and will begin pre-production at Angry Chair recordings in Glenside, PA sometime in September 2005.
Single Bullet Theory will also be in the studio for an EP, which still features Jason Dunkerly behind the kit.
The upcoming two discs will be mixed by Eddy Garcia (Pissing Razors, Ministry).
