John Fowler, original drummer of Steelheart, later in Smoke and The Voodoo Jets, is currently hospitalized. John had a brain aneurysm and is now in a coma. Steelheart frontman Miljenko Matijevic states: \"The doctors say they don\'t know if he is going to make it. I ask all of you if you can send him some love and positive energy to help him to come out of this traumatic situation.\"
The reactivated line-up of Steelheart issued a three-song EP, \"Just a Taste\", in 2006.
