Joey Jordison wrote songs for the yet-untitled album with lead vocalist Henry Derek. In addition to playing drums, Joey plays bass on all songs and rhythm guitar on all but two.

Multi-instrumentalist Chris Vrenna (Nine Inch Nails) plus guitarists Jed Simon (Strapping Young Lad) and Kris Norris (Darkest Hour) joined Joey and Henry during the recording sessions at Sound Farm Studios in Des Moines, Iowa.

The album, produced by Rhys Fulber (Fear Factory, Rob Zombie, Mindless Self Indulgence, etc), promises to be a hard-edged rock record that draws from post-punk and industrial music. Says Joey:

"With this project, I focused my efforts on writing for the better of the song. I wasn't worried about flash or persona... It's all about writing a good solid song. I'm writing music that people can grasp and hold on to... something that resonates. If you don't have that, then you have nothing."

Joey received eleven platinum and forty gold records, plus a Grammy Award with his band Slipknot.
