Martin is endorser of Drummerszone.com since the very first days. Being one of the most versatile percussionists on this planet, Martin was enthousiastic about the web site from the start. His resume is as long as incredible. He played amongst others with artists like Prince, James Taylor, Toots Thielemans and Steve Winwood.

Born on Curaçao in 1959, he moved to The Netherlands in 1971. He studied at the conservatory of Rotterdam and in Havana at the Conjunto Folklorico Nacional de Cuba.

Last year Martin was elected best percussionist for the 9th time by the readers of Dutch drum magazine Slagwerkkrant.
