Jason Bittner of Shadows Fall will be filling in for Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante for the first few weeks of the upcoming Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival because Charlie is recovering from a minor hand injury.
It's not the first time that Jason will take a seat behind the drum kit for Anthrax: he previously joined them on stage on November 8, 2011 at Northern Lights in Clifton Park, New York.
Jason also filled in on drums for Benante for two Anthrax shows in January 2006 after Charlie left the tour early to attend to the birth of his first child.
