Cuban-born percussionist Francisco Aguabella, a master drummer of the Santeria religion, has died at 84. His rhythms backed up Dizzy Gillespie and Peggy Lee, but he often jumped genres, playing with Frank Sinatra, Paul Simon, The Doors, Carlos Santana and many others during his musical career.Francisco Aguabella is survived by two daughters, two sons and seven grandchildren.
