Devon Clifford, drummer for the popular Canadian dance-punk band You Say Party! We Say Die!, has died after collapsing during a show in Vancouver on Friday night.

Devon, who would have turned 31 this week, was pounding a steady rhythm when he suddenly leaned over his drum kit.
Though no official cause of death has been released, the drummer is believed to have suffered a brain hemorrhage. Devon was rushed to the hospital where he died Saturday night (April 18, 2010) surrounded by family and friends.
The band, originally from Abbotsford, BC, has a growing international following and performed last month at the high-profile SXSW festival in Austin, Texas.
Friday night’s performance came at the end of the Canadian tour. They were due to begin a European tour on April 26.
