The Ibanez Guitar Festival 2013 will take place at Meinl's premises in Gutenstetten, Germany on June 22nd and 23rd. And although it's a guitar festival, the line-up features two good reasons why drummers should visit it too.
Two world-class drummers and Meinl endorsers will perform at the guitar festival which make attending worthwhile for drummers too.
Matt Garstka will perform with his band Animals As Leaders on Saturday June 22nd.
Felix Lehrmann will be the house-drummer for all guitar performances and workshops throughout both days.
Watching Felix adapt to all the different musical needs will be a great lesson to all drummers.
Festival lineup What else can you expect? Shred wizzard Paul Gilbert, a ukulele workshop, djent artist Tosin Abasi of Animals As Leaders, bass greats Gary Willis, and Andrew "The Bullet" Lauers, jazz virtuozo Thomas Brendgens-Mönkemeyer, and Polish rock icon Wojciech Hoffmann among others, plus an exposition of Ibanez vintage instruments.
