In part one of our three part series, MetalKult catches up with High On Fire at Soundhouse Studios in Seattle as they begin work on their new record, Death Is This Communion with producer Jack Endino. \'Death Is This Communion\' will see its European release on September 24 (September 21 Germany and Benelux). Advance song titles include: Fury Whip, Death is This Communion, Rumors of War, Cyclopian Scape, and Ethereal.
High On Fire will kick off their five-week “Death Is This Communion North American Tour” immediately following the album’s release in San Diego, CA. Joining High On Fire for the entirety of the tour are special guests Mono, Panthers, and Coliseum. The tour is being sponsored in part by Decibel Magazine, Jaxprints, and Fixion Media.
