French progressive metal band Hacride has parted ways with its original drummer Olivier Laffond and has replaced him with Michael Roponus (Om Mani).\"We\'ve been using Mike\'s services over the past few months because of Olivier\'s wife pregnancy. It was originally supposed to be a temporary situation, but he decided to quit the band to focus on his new family responsibilities, which we perfectly understand. It feels a bit weird for us because we have had the same stable lineup since the band\'s birth.\"
Hacride\'s latest effort, entitled \'Lazarus\', was released in 2009 via Listenable Records. The cd was recorded at Loko Studio in Normandie, France with producers Franck Hueso and Marc Casanova.
