US chain of music stores Guitar Center, despite their name also packed with drums and percussion gear, have just opened their 224th store.
The new Guitar Center store is located at 214 Market Street, Yonkers, New York.
It's the company’s tenth new store opened this year, so it seems as if Guitar Center is wholly unconcerned with the economic crisis that has put the music industry in some rough times.
The grand opening was last weekend and featured special deals, giveaways plus a clinic with drummer Jeff Friedl of A Perfect Circle, Devo, and Puscifer.
