Here are four videos with all the drums, snare drums and finishes the Gretsch Company showed at NAMM 2014. Joe Mazza, Gretsch's Product Manager, gives a very detailed tour explaining all the drums, finishes, the new hardware, and shows the awesome snare drums in the immense wall of the Golden, Silver, Artist and custom snare drums they had on display. This is where it gets better: the USA custom snares have details that come closer to serious art levels then to an instrument you also want to hit.

Gretsch drums
Every kit of the USA Limited Editions are as beautiful as the other. All have the smoothest finishes, classic and upgraded or even new hardware; they all have that Gretsch specialty that makes you just want them for your collection. In the videos, Joe Mazza shows these drums, with all the info you need.

Gretsch Marquee Series kit, in four new Satin finishes; Satin Indigo, Satin Natural, Satin Red and Satin Walnut
Gretsch Catalina Ash, with five new finishes; Black Natural Burst, Walnut Natural Walnut, Red Black red, Black Pearl, Bronze Pearl.
Also, new Catalina hardware is included with some sweet specs: a round bass drum mount, a double tom holder and more.
Gretsch Energy Spec kit, with upgraded hardware and pedals, available in Grey Steel, Black and White.

The USA Prototype Vintage 3-ply (Available in the third quarter of 2014.)
Custom Piano Black, with:
- a 12"x14" floor tom snare
- The new diamond plate floor tom leg bracket with memory lock; the new standard for USA custom.
Gretsch Brooklyn: Limited Edition Vintage White kit; only 30 kits available
New Brooklyn Black Oyster finish, replacing the Blue Oyster finish
Gretsch Custom Limited Ribbon Mahogany; only 28 are manufactured of this kit

Gretsch snare drums
Gretsch's snare drum lines are broken down in three separate series. Now the snares are Gold, Silver or Artist Series. A clear and distinct method to define the level and price of the drums.

Most surprising were the snares the company developed for their NAMM Custom Shop Event, a special event for fifteen of the best selling Gretsch dealers. Check out the videos and take special notice of the stunningly beautiful handmade American Flag snare, the Inside Out snares, but also the very special customs made in the Fender Custom Guitar Shop. Amazing drums, with sometimes even more amazing prices!
