Kreutzmann and Murawski were first introduced in Costa Rica at a meeting facilitated by Phish bassist Mike Gordon.

Shortly after, Burbridge joined the band for a gig and it quickly became obvious that the trio would pursue freewheeling musical adventures.

Bill Kreutzmann, Oteil Burbridge and Scott Murawski will play at The Independent in San Fransisco on Thursday, February 25 and at Moe\'s Alley in Santa Cruz on Friday, February 26. Fans can expect a helping of Dead tunes along with original material.
