The album is entitled \"Mobile\" and contains 8 songs written by Glenn himself. Besides the drum kit Glenn plays many other percussion instruments, including the vibraphone and the mbira, the thumb piano from Zimbabwe and Mozambique.

Glenn Kotche will also join Tweedy on another round of solo acoustic dates, beginning January 31 in Vancouver, Canada.

Besides his solo efforts and career with Wilco, Glenn Kotche is one half of experimental jazz duo On Fillmore (also featuring Wilco bassist Darin Gray), and rock trio Loose Fur (which features Tweedy and Kotche in tandem with multi-instrumentalist Jim O\'Rourke).

Loose Fur will release their sophomore album on March 21, 2006.
