\"It\'s true that we were expecting a breakup, mainly because over the past two years the band has been pointed in a direction that we never meant for it to go. Not musically, mind you. It\'s easy to say, \'I don\'t like this, I can\'t relate to it anymore so it\'s over.\' Thankfully, we went on hiatus for the last few months and had a chance to clear our heads. We realized that at the end of the day we are all still very close friends and we love playing music together.\"
According to Francis Mark it\'s sometimes necessary for musicians to remember why they started making music in the first place:
\"I\'m just saying it\'s important to remember where you came from because for a while I forgot and I was miserable. Breaking up is the easy way out. I\'d rather look at all the bad decisions that have been made and try to fix them.\"
From Autumn To Ashes\' latest album, \"Abandon Your Friends\", was released in August 2005.
The CD was produced by Garth Richardson (Rage Against The Machine, Mudvayne, Slipknot, Chevelle) and was mixed by Josh Wilbur at Soundtrack studio in New York City.
