Tobias drummed with Deadlock until April of this year when he decided to part ways in order to focus on his firm and family.

Deadlock started as a pure death metal band, but eventually the attitudes and beliefs of the band members, all vegan at the time, flowed into their music.

According to Tobias, the trigger to adopt a vegan lifestyle was a visit at the slaughterhouse as a student. The consistent mindset of Tobias Graf should accompany him for the rest of his life. It's even manifest beyond his death as he has founded Absolute Vegan Empire, a wholesale for vegan products.

Due to the expansion of the company, Tobias moved from his hometown Schwarzenfeld to Nabburg, followed by the launch of Alles Vegetarisch, a company that now employs sixty people.

Despite his entrepreneurial activities and a tight schedule, Tobias Graf could not stay away from the drums.

After Deadlock's debut album, the signed with Lifeforce should be the basis for deadlocks success. Next album, 'Earth.Revolt', featured frontwoman Sabine Scherer, who quickly integrated into the band.

'Wolves' and 'Manifesto' followed in 2008 and the band played multiple tours and festivals. With 'Bizarro World' Deadlock could reap success and play at the Wacken Festival, among other things.

Lifeforce Records has issued the following brief statement about Tobias Graf's passing:

"Long time dear friend Tobias Graf and founding member of Deadlock passed away at the age of 35. We can hardly express the sadness in our hearts and we wish his family all possible strength in these dark hours. Farewell Tobi and may you have a safe journey."
