"It started out as a hobby, and has since blossomed into a legitimate niche. With albom sales on decline, gas prices creeping up and venues paying less, becoming a one man band has become a very real option for musicians. It offers more revenue, greater creative control, lighter travel and often even more fun."
Pete Farmer's handcrafted creations have sold to artists such as "one whoaman band" Molly Gene, Christian Wargo (Fleet Foxes), Sammy Merendino (Cyndi Lauper), Brian Ritchie (Violent Femmes), Rickey Rockett (Poison), and worldwide touring acts like JJ Grey, and G. Love. The latter says:
"I used the jingle sticks with a Farmer Downbeat foot pedal all summer on my acoustic tour with Jack Johnson. It was a great addition to my rig and my feet sounded like a freight train running!"
