Drummer and missionary Caleb Graves (22), was struck by a car and seriously injured while helping a stranded motorist. was reportedly helping push a disabled vehicle to the side of the road Sunday evening in Norcross when he was struck by a passing car.

According to the Gwinnett County Police report, Caleb Graves stopped to help a driver whose car engine failed right on an intersection around 8:20 pm. Caleb and another individual were attempting to move the vehicle out of the intersection when a Nissan Altima struck Caleb pinning him between the Altima and the disabled vehicle.
According to police, the driver who hit Caleb had stolen the car. He left the Nissan behind and fled on foot.
Caleb was taken to Gwinnett Medical Center where doctors amputated his foot - the foot he predominantly uses for drumming - and more of his leg may have to be removed.
The search continues for the reckless hit-and-run driver.
