It is going to be a long week of drumming in LA from the end of June to July 6th. Starting from June 28, eight drum camp days are filled by Drummer's Reality Camp (DRC) and Thomas Lang's Big Drum Bonanza 2014. DRC takes place at the Los Angeles College of Music and the Drum Bonanza is held at the DrumChannel.com studios in Oxnard, California. Drummer's Reality Camp: June 28th - July 2nd Drum Channel is teaming up with the Los Angeles College of Music (LACM) to bring you the Ultimate Summer Drummer's Experience for players of all ages. Instructors include Dom Famularo, Terry Bozzio, Ralph Humphrey, Joe Porcaro, Alex Acuna, Aaron Spears, Tommy Igoe, and Jeff Hamilton.
Drummers Reality Camp consists of lectures, ensemble workshops, clinics, music business workshops and concerts. ALSO included is a tour of DW and the Drum Channel Studios, as well as attendance at a live-streamed event on Drum Channel.
Big Drum Bonanza 2014: July 2nd - July 6th The Big Drum Bonanza also has an offer for you: you can now attend the Afternoon Only portion of the camp on the day of your choice. Only five guest passes are available for each day.
Afternoon sessions from 2:30 - 6:30 are held at the Drum Channel studios in Oxnard, CA. Each day features master classes and clinics from guest artists, goodies and prizes - as well as the evening's Big Drum Bonanza LIVE! global webcast hosted by Thomas Lang.
Private lessons with guest artists may also be available for an additional fee. Practice kits are not needed for the afternoon sessions, so just bring yourself and pen so you can get some autographs.
