Nervecell will enter the studio in September with producer Kiran Sequiera, who previously worked on the band\'s 2004 release \'Human Chaos\'.

The cd artwork will be created by Dennis Sibeijn (Aborted, All Shall Perish, Job For A Cowboy).

According to Nervecell, the sound on the new cd will be \"old-school death metal meets the modern death/thrash metal sound with lots of melody and groove.\"

David Haley is replacing London based drummer Gavin Ward (photo), who was asked to leave the band by the remaining band members earlier this month. Ward had spent a good year and a half with Nervecell. According to the group:

\"Due to a number of personal issues and a sequence of ongoing events with Gavin, the band was left with no other option but to call the quits with him in order to move on.\"
