Reed Mullin left the band in 2001, citing problems due to a degenerative back disease (and therefore an unwillingness to tour) as the reason, though he has since emerged as the vocalist in a band called Brown.
Reed was replaced by Jimmy Bower, known from his grooves for Crowbar, Down and Superjoint Ritual.
The classic \'Animosity\' lineup of Corrosion Of Conformity has officially reformed and is working on a new album. There are even some early-August shows lined up for the West Coast already, although they have not yet been officially announced.
Mike and Reed were most recently members of Righteous Fool. That group will apparently stay together and will coexist with the newly reformed Corrosion Of Conformity.
