Drummer Will Champion of Coldplay has been cast in a role for the upcoming season three of HBO's acclaimed medieval fantasy television series Game Of Thrones.
According to Entertainment Weekly, little is known about Will's role, but he will appear as a drummer.
Will is not the first music star to make a cameo: Snow Patrol frontman Gary Lightbody has also been confirmed to cameo in the new season. Game of Thrones season three will premiere March 2013.
