For In Mourning's upcoming live shows, Mattias Bender of Introitus will step in as a stand-in drummer. Regarding the future in a longer perspective, In Mourning has confirmed they will continue to work on a new record.

In Mourning's third full-length album, 'The Weight Of Oceans', was released on April 18, 2012 via Spinefarm Records. The album was recorded in late 2011 at the Abyss and Black Lounge studios in Sweden with engineer Jonas Kjellgren.
