"I don't want to do it [Glastonbury]. Everyone else does. I don't like playing outdoors, and I certainly don't like festivals. The worst thing playing outdoors is when the wind blows, if you're a drummer, because the cymbals move... it really is hard to play then."
Charlie also admitted that he had considered leaving the band ahead of last year's 50th anniversary concerts at the O2 Arena in London, describing the music industry as a "young person's" game. But he also assures but it was actually very comfortable to do: "It was good fun, is what I meant to say."
