Anthrax drummer Charles Benante and his wife Sandra have been released from jail after they were arrested Friday, July 27th, on charges of domestic battery in front of a child.
Arrest records indicate the pair was picked up at the Hilton Garden Inn in Elkhart, Indiana.
According to a local report on wsbt.com, the pair was released from Elkhart County Jail the next day.
Benante, 49, and Sandra, 41, had their first child, Mia Charley Benante, in 2006.
There were no further details available regarding the arrest.
Anthrax is currently out on the road as part of Mayhem Festival. Charlie Benante missed the first few weeks of the tour due to a hand injury, with Shadows Fall's drummer Jason Bittner sitting in.
Over the past 30 years, Anthrax has achieved sales in excess of $10 million and received multiple gold and platinum albums and Grammy nominations.
