"I think every time my fat rear end is out on a drum stool, some thin 25-year-old's isn't"
Bill Bruford started as the original drummer of Yes. Next he drummed with various incarnations of King Crimson for more than two decades.
Bill traded drum licks with Phil Collins on stage with Genesis. Later, he had a prolific solo career, often at the helm of his jazz rock combo, Earthworks.
Bill Bruford has capped those accomplishments with an autobiography, published by Jawbone Press. It's his response to all the questions he's been asked over the years. You can read the first chapter here. Bill:
"I don't feel I need further justifications or explanations with respect to my retirement from the road, but for those of an inquisitive nature, the book will explain my decision in greater depth."
