Sax player Benjamin Herman (photo) has received a Dutch Edison Jazz Award for his album \"Heterogeneity\".\"He seems to know no technical limitations, has a beautiful tone and demonstrates the ability to choose the right notes in any circumstance\".
More news about Benjamin Herman: his album \"The Itch\" (Dox Records/Coast to Coast), featuring Han Bennink, Ernst Glerum and Anton Goudsmit, was presented at the Jazz International festival in September 2005 in Rotterdam. An international promotion tour will start early 2006.
Benjamin Herman is not only enjoying a succesful solo career, he is also working as a bandleader of New Cool Collective, featuring Joost Kroon on drums.
