Titled \"The Monkey Puzzle\", the new release is due in Europe on September 25 via SPV Records, and one day later in North America.
The follow-up to 2004\'s \"You Are Here\" was recorded at Area 51 Studios with producer Tommy Newton, who also worked with the band on their last CD and who recorded the material for the band\'s \"Showtime\" live album.
The mucians are scheduled to start their extensive world tour in October 2006. Drummer Andy Parker was part of the UFO line-up that performed the group\'s debut show in the late sixties. He has returned to replace previous skinsman Jason Bonham, who left to join Foreigner. Also on board is their accomplished guitarist Vinnie Moore, who has been part of the permanent line-up since the last studio album, \"You Are Here\".
