These Zildjian meetings are not only about having drinks. Every edition is accompanied with serious Zildjian representatives and a range of prototype cymbals for the artists to test. The 2019 session featured Zildjian delegates the likes of Paul Francis, Sarah Hagan, Tina Clarke, Rick van Oppen, and Musik Meyer's Sales and Marketing Director Ramon Hobert. The Dutch Zildjian Artists
Big or small, Metal or Jazz, these artists represent the diversity of Dutch Music to the fullest. Where Jazz Icon John Engels played with Chet Baker and many other Jazz greats, the versatile independent drummer Koen Herfst toured the globe with Armin van Buuren, has his own drum festival Herfstfest plus a few of his own bands. More recent: Koen is also the drummer for former Whitesnake guitarist Adrian Vandenberg’s renewed Vandenberg project. Their new album, featuring Brian Tichy, is out!

Venezuelan drummer and percussionist Marco Toro was the former drummer for legendary Hardcore Metal and Latin band Laberinto. He has released several solo albums and is part of Latin Master Lucas van Merwijk's international super percussion group Drums United. More international: the young Nadesh Ligthart is also part of the Soul Food Horns from Austin, Texas.

With a glass of wine, legendary Golden Earring drummer Cesar Zuiderwijk is introduced by founder and publisher of Dutch drum magazine Slagwerkkrant, Erk Willemsen.

To name a few hot and new cats, there are Salle de Jonge, Teun van Zoggel, Jamie Peet, Yannick Bovens, and Efraim de Nijs. These are the guys among many that make the scene and new music now. Just a few years in age above them, we find the high reputational influencers Cyril Directie, Richard Moelker, Sietse Huisman and players like Fokke de Jong. Fun fact: Teun van Zoggel teaches at Richard Moelker's drum school.

Every country in the world has musicians playing with all types of (international) artists from the largest venues to the smallest theaters. Zildjian always has a range of new and prototype cymbals set up during their Artist Meetings.
