Drummerszone talks with Michael Schack about the success of Order
Interview with the Belgian DJ Drummer on the clip that turned world news.

Order was released on 25 October on Michael Schack's brand new label FatKick records. In less than a week not only hit his dance hit over 60,000 views on YouTube, as of now the worldwide news picked up the song and Michael can literally be found in news outlets all over the planet. From Reuters to Bloomberg to The New European and The National in Abu Dhabi. All outlets are covering the song with the highly creative video. Tomorrow, Michael Schack talks about it on Drummerszone.com.

Michael and KJ Sawka were lined up together on the first day of this year's edition of The UK Drum Festival. While preparing their set at the Belgium Roland headquarters days before the show, little did they know the single would hit world news.

As Michael says in our interview to be published tomorrow: "This is the first performance of the alternative DnB drum-remix version. The official single is 128bpm, but we play the live version at 190bpm. It gives it a totally different vibe. Everything you see happening live is triggered by me. Like Bercow's live images and the texts that appear on the screen."

The trending video of Order is the actual single that Michael Schack released on Fatkick and has gotten global attention. Together with his team, Michael built a full puppet cast to represent the key figures of the British parliament and has them dancing in a dazzling techno setting. Of course, with speaker of the House of Commons John Bercow as the starring figure.

Michael Schack is one of the world's most well known (electronic) drummers. He is a solo performer on music festival stages, in clubs and concert venues around the planet. As solo #djdrummer Michael takes electronic music performance to a whole different, spectacularly entertaining level while drumming and triggering multi-tempo mashup mixes 100% live.

As a consultant to Roland's Digital Percussion development team and contributing V-Drums sound designer, Michael Schack has been very actively involved in the development of Roland's V-Drums instrument releases since 2004. Apart from being a Roland artist, he's also been a very loyal international Tama and Meinl artist for many years. As a drumming educator, he is affiliated to Drumeo.com.

In 2019 Michael started his own Fatkick label. The single FRÀ'KOEH was released a couple of weeks before Order came out.
