The TM-1 Editor App
And the well-designed app makes controlling your sounds easy. Not only can you manage the 15 onboard kits, but also your own imported sounds. In the second video, Jules from Roland explains and demos how easy it is to customize the sounds from your mobile device. The only limit in storing kits, is the available memory in your device. When you download the free TM-1 Editor, Roland gives you 150 additional sounds to play around with. All the links to the Mac, Windows, IOS and Android apps are below with all the specs.

The TM-1 Trigger Module
The two trigger inputs on the module support virtually all the Roland pads and triggers. You connect them to the module and you're ready to play. It really is that easy. In the app you set the triggers and assign sounds to them. What you're actually doing is layering the samples from the TM-1 - or your own sounds - with your kick, snare or any drum that you want to use it on. Very important is that Roland has included the option of turning the triggers off by ways of the two footswitches on the module.

You can change the most important settings on the module itself: the sensitivity, the pitch, the decay and the volume of the triggers.

Extend your kit some more
With all that already, the TM-1 Trigger Module is capable of much more. You can also use the TM-1 with Roland's BT-1 Bar Trigger Pad, KT-10 Kick Trigger Pedal, V-Pads and V-Cymbals.
