Not really 900 cymbals -although it comes close-, but after the Color Sound range the Paiste 900 Series are the second largest series in the Swiss Army of Cymbals that Paiste introduced at NAMM 2017. In less than five minutes you get a complete rundown with demos of the 24 cymbals in these new series from Paiste. They are made of 2002 Bronze and the hammering and lathing for each cymbal is done by hand in the factory in Switzerland. The 900 series has more than ten crashes and rides in medium and heavy weights. The hi-hats, splashes and chinas complete this range for, well...almost everybody?
Notice the finish on each cymbal that darkens it just a little bit. It gives all the cymbals just that extra touch in looks and brightness. Also worth mentioning is the pricing of the cymbals that is at a very fair and affordable level, worth every penny you spend on it if the sound fits you. With that, the dynamics in the 900 Series have an immense broad spectrum in musical possibilities that you should also try yourself.
